Job summary

Wipro Infrastructure Engineering in Hindupur, India seeks a seasoned sourcing professional to lead strategic procurement for forged and machined components. You will build and manage supplier bases, drive cost reductions, and ensure QCDS across manufacturing projects.

The role requires 10–12 years of experience in automotive/manufacturing supply chains, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in SAP. You will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize procurement strategies and lead time

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in sourcing and supply chain in manufacturing/auto industry.
• Experience in strategic sourcing from manufacturing/auto components.
• Experience with forging components and forging capacity mapping.
• Vendor development for machined/forged components.
• Strong costing and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent communication and high energy levels.

Key Skills Required:

• Should have experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management from manufacturing/auto component industry.
• Preference will be given to those who have handledForging components
• Hands on experience in identifying, evaluating, and developing vendors for machined components are a must.
• Knowledge on Costing and Negotiation is must.
• Knowledge on SAP is must
• Excellent communication skills and high energy levels.
• Develop and manage a good supplier base, Experience in developingForged machining components.
• Analytical ability to quickly reach the root-cause of a problem
• Initiate and Drive Value Engineering & Cost Reduction projects.
• Proactive and self-starting; seizes opportunities and acts upon them with enthusiasm and commitment.
• Must have Knowledge in Forging capacity Mapping & drive towards action plan
• Should have experience in Lead time reduction in Forging & Machining Parts
• Self-driven in all the Area
• Experienced in Planning, implementation of key procurement strategies, contingency plans,

organizing and controlling all requisite activities to perform procurement.
