Job summary

Rehlko seeks an experienced MES Engineer to lead network performance, MES configuration, and ERP/PLM integration efforts within a Manufacturing setting. The role requires hands-on expertise with Rockwell MES lite and Siemens PLC programming to support production and assembly processes.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across IT and operations to optimize MES deployment, data management, and reporting, ensuring seamless Level 1 and Level 3 integration and robust IT/OT connectivity.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Rockwell MES lite products and MES configurations.
• Experience gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders in manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in Siemens PLC programming and MES integration with ERP/PLM systems.
• Knowledge of IT/OT connectivity protocols, especially OPC-UA and OPC-DA.
• Experience configuring and applying MES systems across Order, Line, Material, and Rework controls.

• Experience on functional consultant and Fit Gap Analysis.
• Manufacturing domain knowledge on Production and Assembly processes.

• Ability to work with all organizational levels (technical and non-technical).
• 5+ years in MES configuration and Siemens PLC programming.
• Capable of Level 1 and Level 3 integration (OPC, PLC, SAP).
• Improve IT solution implementation through data and automation.

• Production, Quality, Inventory, Performance Management, Data Management & Reporting, and Enterprise Integration (ERP, PLM), Plant Integration
• Has minimum 5 years of software development engineering experience; must be strong and have experience in Siemens PLC programming.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.
• Profound knowledge of IT/OT connectivity protocols, in particular OPC-UA, OPC-DA
• 5+ years of experience in configuring and applying MES systems.
• Experienced in various tasks associated with MES (e.g., Order Management, Line Control, Material Management, Rework Control, Packaging Control, Product Setup Management, Block Management)
• Experienced in improving IT solution implementation work via methods, data, and automation across the solution lifecycle.
• Knowledge of machine connectivity tools, knowledge of interfaces to hard- (PLC) and software systems (notably SAP system) is a plus.
• Industries & Domain: Production/ Manufacturing (Preferably Automotive manufacturing).
• Know-how: Good technical understanding of integrated IT solutions.
• Should be capable to work and integration with Level 1 (Field devices) and Level 3 (OPC).
