• Prior experience in a plant/production leadership role within electroplating or surface coating industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end electroplating operations including zinc, nickel, chrome, and other plating processes as per product requirements.
• Monitor and control plating bath chemistry, plating thickness, and process parameters to ensure consistent quality output.
• Plan and oversee daily production schedules to meet delivery timelines and capacity targets.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and relevant industry certifications.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of plating lines, rectifiers, tanks, and associated machinery.
• Manage the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and ensure adherence to environmental and pollution control norms.
• Lead, train, and supervise the shop floor team including operators, supervisors, and quality inspectors.
• Troubleshoot process deviations, rejections, and quality issues, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of plating chemicals, consumables, and spares.
• Maintain proper documentation of process logs, quality reports, and compliance records.
• Drive cost optimization, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives on the plating line.
• Ensure workplace safety protocols and statutory compliance are strictly followed.

• Strong communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams (production, quality, procurement)
