Job summary

NAG TECHNOLOGIES in Bengaluru (Harohalli Industrial Area) is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Electro-Plating department. You will review plating processes, ensure compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP standards, and drive continuous improvement of quality systems on site.

The role involves coordinating with labs, monitoring test results, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high-quality plating services for aerospace, defence, and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Fresher or Experienced

Responsibilities

• Thorough Review and understand Electro-plating process Mill specification Process.
• Develop an understanding of AS9100 & NADCAP Certification requirements.
• Identify NADCAP certification requirements and compare with existing specifications.
• Evaluate supplier quality performance and assist with supplier quality improvement.
• Review and monitor plating test results, including coating thickness, adhesion, corrosion resistance, hardness, and visual requirements where applicable.
• Coordinate with laboratory personnel for chemical analysis and process-bath testing.
• Ensure calibration and verification of plating and inspection equipment.
• Maintain accurate Quality documentation, including plating parameters and bath composition data.
• Implement corrective actions to address identified gaps.
• Establish a system for continuous process monitoring and improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and production, to resolve plating issues.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest electroplating technologies and best practices.
