Job summary

Lead Hr Services in India invites applications for a role overseeing comprehensive POP electroplating operations, from pretreatment to final coating. The position requires ensuring production targets, delivery schedules, and efficiency goals are met across multiple plating lines.

You will monitor chemical bath chemistry, temperature, pH and current density, troubleshoot defects, and maintain documentation and SPC records. Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and OEM standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete POP electroplating operations from pretreatment to final coating.
• Ensure production targets, delivery schedules, and efficiency goals are achieved.
• Monitor plating lines including (Etching, Neutralization, Activation, Electro-less nickel plating, Copper/Nickel/Chrome plating).
• Optimize cycle times and line productivity.
• Control plating bath chemistry and operating parameters.
• Monitor Temperature, pH, Chemical concentration, Current density, Adhesion performance.
• Troubleshoot plating defects such as: Roughness, Yellow, Burning, Poor adhesion, Pitting, Uneven thickness.
• Knowledge of ABS platin, Electroless nickel processes, Decorative chrome plating, Surface preparation, Wastewater treatment .
• Familiarity with plating standards and testing methods.
• Understanding of chemical analysis and laboratory controls.
• Ensure plated parts meet customer specifications and standards.
• Handle quality systems such as: IATF 16949, ISO 9001, OEM standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Maintain documentation, SPC, and process records.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance of plating equipment and rectifiers.
• Ensure ETP/STP systems function properly.
• Maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Handle hazardous chemicals safely.
• Reduce chemical consumption and rejection rates.
• Improve plating yield and process capability.
• Support automation and lean manufacturing initiatives.
