Qualification: BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design, development, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Manage electrical projects from concept to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Diagnose electrical faults and conduct root-cause analysis with corrective and preventive actions.
• Handle troubleshooting of electrical equipment such as Contactors, Connectors, SMPS, SSR, Relays, VFDs, PLCs, Terminal Blocks, and related hardware.
• Prepare and implement preventive and periodic maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns.
• Maintain electrical panels, packing machines, process equipment, utilities, solar systems (if applicable), fabrication equipment, and other plant electrical systems.
• Ensure timely availability and proper inventory of engineering spares and consumables.
• Prepare and understand Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for existing systems and new projects.
• Prepare BOMs, cost estimates, technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and other engineering documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, safety, and cost optimization.
• Use AutoCAD and other relevant electrical design tools for engineering activities.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands‑on experience in electrical design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of electrical panels and their functionalities.
• Experience in maintenance scheduling and implementation in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical equipment, controls, PLCs, VFDs, relays, SMPS, SSR, contactors, connectors, and terminals.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Experience in project management, team leadership, budgeting, and BOM preparation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent electrical design software.
• Ability to read, prepare, and understand SLDs.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
