• Oversee end-to-end logistics operations including shipment planning, pickup, transportation, delivery, POD and exception handling.
• Develop and manage a multi-LSP network, including negotiations and lane allocation.
• Drive freight cost optimisation through benchmarking and rate negotiations.
• Monitor and improve delivery SLA, EDD, transit times and shipment quality.
• Track supplier dispatch and logistics performance to identify delays and corrective actions.
• Digitise and automate logistics processes in partnership with Product/Tech teams.

Assistant Manager - Logistics (Experience - 6 to 10 Years)

Role Purpose: Scale the end-to-end logistics function for L&T SuFin, ensuring cost-efficient, reliable and technology-enabled fulfilment from suppliers to customers. The role will drive logistics performance, LSP management, cost optimisation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end logistics operations including shipment planning, pickup, transportation, delivery, POD and exception management.
• Manage and develop a multi-LSP network, including commercial negotiations, lane allocation and serviceability.
• Drive freight cost optimisation through lane-wise benchmarking, rate negotiations and identification of cost leakages.
• Monitor and improve delivery SLA, EDD adherence, transit time and shipment quality.
• Track and improve supplier dispatch and logistics performance, identifying recurring delays and corrective actions.
• Build logistics dashboards covering cost, margin, shipments, weight, LSP performance, lanes, SLA and exceptions.
• Own freight billing, reconciliation and claims with logistics partners.
• Develop and implement logistics SOPs, controls and governance.
• Partner with Product/Technology teams to digitise and automate logistics processes, reducing manual intervention and Excel dependency.
• Ensure logistics operations support the drop-shipment / Bill-toShip-to model while maintaining strong financial and operational controls.
