Job summary

Trehan IRIS is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and maintain the organization’s IT backbone across servers, networking, cloud, and end-user computing. You will ensure security, performance, and high availability while coordinating with vendors and business users across corporate and project locations.

The role involves implementing infrastructure projects, managing assets, backups, disaster recovery, and enterprise applications support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience in managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, virtualization and networking.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms and backup solutions.
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, switches, routers, wireless networks, and endpoint security.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity best practices, patch management, and access controls.
  • Exposure to ERP infrastructure support (SAP, FarVision, or similar enterprise applications) will be an advantage.
  • Experience in IT asset management, vendor coordination, and infrastructure documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, and endpoint devices.
  • Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure/AWS (basic administration), DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms.
  • Monitor system performance, network availability, and infrastructure health to ensure minimum downtime.
  • Ensure timely resolution of infrastructure-related incidents through internal support teams and external vendors.
  • Manage user administration, access control, email services, and endpoint security.
  • Coordinate installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones, biometric devices, and other IT assets.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
  • Assist in deploying ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications by providing infrastructure support.
  • Implement IT security controls including antivirus, endpoint protection, firewall policies, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses, infrastructure documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, AMC management, warranty claims, and SLA monitoring.
  • Support new office/site setup, network expansion, and infrastructure readiness for business operations.
  • Ensure periodic backups, system updates, and preventive maintenance activities are carried out.
  • Generate infrastructure health reports, asset utilization reports, and incident summaries for management.

Job description

The incumbent will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of network, server, cloud, and end-user computing environments.
