Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate business applications such as SAP, MES, PLM and plant systems.
• Coordinate cybersecurity assessments, audits, and closure of security observations.
• Monitor cybersecurity incidents and risks and assist in DR/BC planning.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, cybersecurity and telecom partners.
• Manage server and data center operations, backups, patching and upgrades.

Purpose/Objective

To ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operation of business applications, IT/OT cybersecurity, telecom services, and infrastructure while supporting compliance, vendor governance, business continuity, and ongoing digital transformation initiatives across the plant.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Business Applications - Support and coordinate business applications such as SAP, MES, PLM, and other plant systems.
• - Work closely with business users and application partners to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• - Ensure smooth operation and availability of applications to support business processes.
• - Manage user access, application changes, and audit-related activities.
• IT & OT Cybersecurity - Ensure compliance with IT and OT cybersecurity policies and guidelines.
• - Coordinate cybersecurity assessments, audits, and closure of security observations.
• - Monitor and support resolution of cybersecurity incidents and risks.
• - Assist in securing critical manufacturing and business systems.
• Partner & Vendor Management - Coordinate with application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and telecom partners.
• - Monitor service quality and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• - Conduct regular reviews and follow up on pending action items.
• - Support contract renewals, procurement, and service improvements.
• Telecom Services Management - Manage telecom services such as mobile connectivity, internet links, leased lines, and IBS solutions.
• - Coordinate with service providers to resolve connectivity issues and improve service quality.
• - Ensure reliable communication services across all plant locations.
• Server & Data Center Management - Oversee server and data center operations to ensure stable and secure services.
• - Coordinate backups, patching, upgrades, and disaster recovery activities.
• - Monitor infrastructure health and support capacity planning initiatives.
• Compliance & Audit Support - Support internal and external audits, cybersecurity reviews, and compliance activities.
• - Ensure adherence to IT policies, SOPs, and governance requirements.
• - Track audit observations and ensure timely closure of action items.
• Service Continuity - Ensure uninterrupted availability of critical business applications and IT services.
• - Coordinate incident, problem, and change management activities.
• - Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
• Digital & Continuous Improvement - Support digital transformation and smart manufacturing initiatives.
• - Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• - Work with business teams to enhance system effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Tech in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in business applications, IT operations, IT/OT cybersecurity, vendor management, infrastructure support, and governance activities.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and exposure to SAP/MES applications will be preferred.
