Job summary

Ipca is seeking a senior Calibration, Instrumentation and Automation professional for a large site in Madhya Pradesh. The role demands hands-on PLC/SCADA/HMI programming, preventive maintenance, and strong involvement in regulatory audits.

You will coordinate with QA, Production and validation teams during audits, support project activities and liaise with vendors for CAPA and change controls. 13–15 years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 13-15 years of experience in calibration, instrumentation and automation at a site level.
• B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on PLC/SCADA/HMI programming experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Experience with audits by regulatory bodies (USFDA, MHRA, WHO or equivalents).
• Coordination with QA, Production and validation during audits.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, instrument, and automate activities for the entire site.
• Program PLC/SCADA/HMI systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Back up PLC and SCADA-based systems in the plant.
• Troubleshoot and maintain process equipment (bioreactors, autoclaves, filling machines, TFF, chromatography, lyophilizer).
• Lead internal and external audits and support cross-functional teams during audits.
• Coordinate with vendors for root-cause analysis, change control and CAPA.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for Calibration, Instrumentation & Automation related activities for the entire site.
• Hands on Experience in Programming of PLC, SCADA & HMI ( Siemens, Allen Bradley).
• Backup of all PLC & SCADA based systems in the plant.
• Responsible for Troubleshooting & Maintenance of process equipment's like Bioreactors, Autoclaves, Filling Machines, TFF systems, Chromatography systems, Lyophilizer, Packing Machines.
• Led and support internal and external audits by regulatory audits likes USFDA, MHRA, WHO etc.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams (QA, Production, validation) during audits.
• Support for Project related activities, New equipment Qualification and Commissioning.
• Coordinate with vendors for handling, root cause analysis,change control, Investigation and CAPA) (if required).
• Any other responsibility assigned by Section Head/HOD/Plant Head
