Job summary

INDIC EMS Electronics Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager HR to lead payroll, attendance, and statutory compliance on-site at Bengaluru.

You will supervise end-to-end payroll for about 2,000 employees, ensure 100% compliance, and coordinate with Finance for salary processing and deductions. You will also manage HR operations, onboarding, employee engagement, and PMS support, while maintaining HRMS data accuracy in GreytHR and TapTalent.

Qualifications

  • MSW - HR required.
  • 6–10 years in Manufacturing/Electronics/Automobile.
  • Experience with payroll processing, attendance, and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll for ~2,000 employees with 100% compliance.
  • Monitor attendance, shift rosters, overtime, and leave management.
  • Coordinate with Finance for payroll processing, salary transfers, reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
  • Handle Full & Final settlements and payroll reports/MIS.
  • Oversee HR operations: onboarding, transfers, promotions, letters.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, gratuity, and bonus.
  • Manage HRMS data in GreytHR and TapTalent; generate dashboards.
  • Support recruitment, background verification, and performance management.

Job Title: Payroll and Compliance: Assistant Manager HR

Location: On-site, Doddabalapur.

Experience Required: 6–10 years

Qualification: MSW - HR

  • Additional certifications in Payroll, Labour Laws, or HR Analytics will be an added advantage.
Experience
  • Experience: 6–10 years of experience in Manufacturing/Electronics/Automobile industry.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is mandatory.
  • Payroll: Experience with Payroll and Payroll Software.
  • Experience in handling 1,500–2,000 employees.
  • Hands‑on experience in Payroll, Time Office, HR Operations, Employee Engagement, and Statutory Compliance.
  • Monitor daily attendance of employees through HRMS/Biometric systems.
  • Verify shift rosters, weekly offs, holidays, overtime, and leave management.
  • Ensure timely correction of attendance discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with department heads for attendance regularization.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly attendance reports.
  • Maintain manpower reports and absenteeism analysis.
2. Payroll
  • Manage the complete end-to-end payroll process for approximately 2,000 employees.
  • Ensure accurate processing of monthly payroll with 100% compliance.
  • Validate attendance, shift schedules, overtime, leave records, holidays, and salary inputs.
  • Coordinate with Finance for payroll processing, salary transfers, reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
  • Process Full & Final Settlement (F&F) for separated employees.
  • Generate payroll reports, MIS, and salary reconciliation statements.
  • Maintain payroll records with complete confidentiality.
3. HR Operations
  • Manage employee onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separation formalities.
  • Issue appointment letters, confirmation letters, transfer letters, increment letters, and other HR documents.
  • Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
  • Support HR audits and documentation.
4. Employee Engagement & Welfare
  • Plan and organize employee engagement activities throughout the year.
  • Coordinate festivals, annual day celebrations, sports events, birthday celebrations, and employee recognition programs.
  • Conduct employee feedback surveys and engagement initiatives.
  • Support Rewards & Recognition (R&R) programs.
  • Promote a positive work culture and employee satisfaction.
5. Statutory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
  • Coordinate PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus, and other statutory requirements.
  • Support labour inspections and government audits.
  • Maintain statutory registers and records.
6. HRMS & System Management
  • Manage employee information in GreytHR, TapTalent/Taplet, and other HR software.
  • Generate HR dashboards and MIS reports.
  • Maintain data accuracy within HR systems.
  • Coordinate with software vendors for issue resolution.
7. Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle Support
  • Support recruitment activities including interview scheduling and onboarding.
  • Coordinate background verification and document verification.
  • Monitor probation and confirmation processes.
  • Assist in manpower planning.
8. Performance Management Support
  • Coordinate the Performance Management System (PMS) cycle.
  • Track KRA/KPI completion.
  • Support appraisal documentation and increment processes.
  • Generate PMS reports.
9. Employee Relations
  • Address employee grievances and resolve workplace issues.
  • Maintain healthy employee relations across departments.
  • Conduct counselling sessions when required.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and disciplinary procedures.
10. Reporting & MIS
  • Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly HR MIS reports.
