Job summary

2coms is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – HEMM to lead maintenance for Heavy Earth Moving Machinery in Vizag. The role requires 7+ years of hands-on experience with heavy equipment and a proven ability to plan preventive and breakdown maintenance.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, conduct RCA analyses, and coordinate with site and corporate teams to ensure high equipment availability and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering – Mandatory.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in HEMM / Heavy Equipment Maintenance.
• Strong experience in Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of HEMM and heavy machinery.
• Handle maintenance of Excavators, Loaders, Dumpers, Crushers, EOT Cranes, HCVs, and similar equipment.
• Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize breakdowns and downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Conduct breakdown analysis, RCA, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead maintenance teams and manage workshop/site maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, records, MIS, and reports.
• Coordinate with site and corporate teams to achieve maintenance and reliability targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
