NJ Group in Surat, Gujarat invites a Chartered Accountant to join as a senior finance professional responsible for audits, accounting supervision, MIS reporting, and tax compliance. The role oversees budgeting, working capital, and financial statements while ensuring regulatory filings with GST/TDS/Income Tax are timely and accurate.
The ideal candidate has completed the Articleship in a reputed firm and possesses IND AS/financial reporting experience, with the ability to work as an individual
1. Audits: Work closely with statutory and internal auditors to comply with audit requirements, attending to and ensuring the timely closure of audit issues and matters.
2. Accounting Supervision: Supervise, direct, and review the work of the accounting team, including prepaids, provisions, payables, receivables, revenue and expense recording, and payment processing.
3. MIS Reporting: Prepare and review monthly P&L statements, business MIS reports, and ad-hoc management reports as required.
4. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Income Tax, TDS, and GST laws within due dates, including tax payments, return filings, and coordination with consultants.
5. Financial Management: Oversee working capital management, maintain the Fixed Asset Register, and contribute to the annual budgeting exercise.
6. Net Worth Certification: Prepare Net Worth Certificates, including calculations related to applicable Ind AS.
7. Budgeting: Coordinate and prepare the annual budget in consultation with various business and functional teams, including necessary amendments.
8. Financial Statements: Prepare and review financial statements and related schedules in accordance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
1. Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate with the Compliance Team to provide finance-related data, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for submissions to SEBI and other regulatory authorities.
2. Ledger & Account Scrutiny: Conduct periodic scrutiny of general ledgers, sub-ledgers, expense accounts, receivables, payables, provisions, prepaid expenses, statutory liabilities, and other balance sheet accounts.
