Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) invites an experienced EHS professional to join our shipyard operations in Tamil Nadu. The role focuses on providing robust EHS oversight across new build vessel projects and ensures compliance with statutory, company and client requirements.

The candidate will lead risk assessments, incident investigations and PTW administration, and drive the implementation of EHS management systems across shipyards, workshops and marine operations to enable safe, compliant project

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with HSE specialization.
• 8-12 years of EHS experience in shipyard environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Organization's expanding business operations and ensure adequate EHS oversight.
• Provide dedicated EHS support for multiple new build vessel projects.
• Implement and monitor EHS management systems across shipbuilding, workshops, wet berths and marine operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company standards, clients requirements and international best practices for EHS.

Qualification Required:

Candidate should be a Engineering graduate with specialization in HSE with 8-12 years of Experience as EHS officer / Engineer in Shipyard Environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The Role is to support the Organizations expanding business operations and ensure adequate EHS oversight.

To provide dedicated EHS support for multiple new build vessel projects.

Reduced EHS oversight across multiple new build vessel projects.

Implement and monitor EHS management systems across Shipbuilding, workshops, wet berths and marine operations.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company standards, clients requirements and internationals best practices for EHS.
