Fortleechiropractors is seeking a qualified Safety Engineer in Goa to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across ship repair and industrial operations. You will implement safety systems, conduct audits, and promote a strong safety culture throughout projects.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a Diploma in Industrial Safety, and a degree/diploma in Engineering. Strong communication and leadership are essential for coordinating with various teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial or relevant discipline).
• Mandatory Diploma in Industrial Safety.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in ship repairs, shipbuilding, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, safety audits, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in conducting safety meetings, preparing reports, and delivering safety training.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and enforce HSE policies and procedures at the workplace.
• Lead and conduct periodic safety review meetings and toolbox talks.
• Prepare and maintain periodic safety compliance reports, records, and documentation.
• Develop and update HSE procedures, safety checklists, formats, and risk assessment documents.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and hazard identification exercises.
• Provide safety induction and ongoing safety training to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
