Job Objective

• Responsible for new business generation, AOP preparation and follow-up, RFQ tracking, customer contracts and legal agreements, and schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business generation and explore new business segments.


• Generate, track and communicate new RFQs (Request for Quotations) on behalf of the organization.


• Coordinate with concerned departments for timely closure of RFQs.


• Track quotation submissions and project delivery submissions.


• Prepare and follow up on the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).


• Maintain and update customer profiles and assess business potential across customers, segments and markets.


• Track customers and competitors and leverage competitor/customer SWOT analysis.


• Identify and explore new opportunities with existing customers.


• Support the Sales team in improving customer service levels.


• Track and analyze industry and market-segment trends and dynamics.


• Appraise management on relevant market and segment trends.


• Collect and analyze market data of companies for benchmarking.


• Prepare costing data based on various parameters.


• Analyze cost comparisons for different contracts, including awarded vs. existing contracts.


• Prepare MIS reports and management presentations.


• Review budget vs. actual performance and prepare presentations.


• Coordinate customer visits.


• Provide quotations to customers with negotiated prices under supervision.


• Represent the organization as a customer representative.


• Manage and coordinate customer contracts and legal agreements.


• Ensure adherence to project/customer schedules.

Technical / Functional Knowledge

• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45000.


• Strong understanding of industry and market segments.


• Knowledge of RFQ management and quotation tracking.


• Understanding of costing and contract analysis.


• Ability to prepare MIS reports and business presentations.
