Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end loan disbursement processes across products and channels.
• Ensure compliance with sanction terms, credit approvals, and checklists before disbursement.
• Validate loan documentation, KYC, agreements, and security documents.
• Maintain timely, accurate disbursement per defined TATs and SLAs.
• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, AML/KYC norms, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with Credit, Sales, Legal, Treasury, Banking Ops, and IT for smooth execution.
• Identify gaps and drive automation, digitization, and LOS/LMS enhancements.
• Prepare MIS on disbursements, track KPIs, and ensure account reconciliation.

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager Operations (Disbursement) will beresponsible for managing end-to-end loan disbursement activities, ensuringtimely and accurate fund releases, compliance with regulatory and internalpolicies, and seamless coordination with cross-functional teams. The rolefocuses on operational efficiency, control adherence, and high-quality servicedelivery in an NBFC environment.

Key Responsibilities

Disbursement Operations

• Manage and oversee end-to-end loan disbursement processes across products (secured/unsecured, retail/SME, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with sanction terms, credit approvals, and checklist requirements prior to disbursement
• Validate loan documentation, KYC, agreements, mandates, and security documents
• Ensure timely and error-free disbursement as per defined TATs and SLAs

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, internal credit policies, AML/KYC norms, and audit requirements
• Maintain maker-checker controls in disbursement transactions
• Support internal audits, concurrent audits, and regulatory inspections
• Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance for post-disbursement reviews

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with Credit, Sales, Legal, Treasury, Banking Ops, and IT teams for smooth disbursement execution
• Act as the single point of contact for resolving disbursement-related escalations
• Liaise with banking partners, payment gateways, and escrow/trust accounts where applicable

Process Improvement

• Identify process gaps, risks, and bottlenecks in disbursement workflows
• Propose and implement automation, digitization, and process optimization initiatives
• Support UAT and rollout of LOS/LMS and disbursement system enhancements

Reporting & MIS

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS on disbursements, pending cases, TATs, and exceptions
• Track and report key operational metrics and trends to management
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of disbursement accounts and payouts

Team Management

• Supervise and mentor executives/officers handling disbursement activities
• Support training and skill development of team members
• Drive productivity, quality, and compliance within the team

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• MBA / Postgraduate degree is an added advantage

Experience
