Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a procurement professional to lead tactical sourcing projects for the GC region on behalf of category teams. You will support procurement managers, manage supplier relations, and ensure timely delivery of strategic sourcing initiatives while leveraging Ariba, PaCE, and IHG Mall tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end sourcing processes and projects for Indirect or Hotel categories in GC region.
• Support Category and Procurement Managers in major projects.
• Timely delivery of strategic sourcing projects across category areas.
• Act as local liaison for services offered by Procurement Sourcing & Operations.
• Co-develop and formalise specifications based on brand standards and cost insights.
• Use PaCE, Ariba and IHG systems as needed to achieve goals.
• Provide local support in building and running Ariba events where offered by UK team.
• Provide tender summaries and initial analysis needing local language skills.
• Manage master data and benchmarking aligned with SRD and SKU catalogs.
• Ongoing supplier relationship, product quality and performance management.
• Ongoing demand planning, forecasting and compliance monitoring.

Job Description:

Role Purpose

Delivery of tactical sourcing projects on behalf of category teams in GC region

Key Accountabilities

• Execute end-to-end sourcing processes and projects on behalf of Indirect and or Hotel category teams in GC region
• Support Category and Procurement Managers in major projects
• Timely delivery of strategic sourcing projects across range of category areas
• Act as local liaison and link for services offered by Procurement Sourcing & Operations team
• Co-Develop, challenge and formalise specifications based on knowledge of brand standards, product knowledge and cost per key insights
• Use processes for sourcing and ways of working as advised by Procurement Sourcing team and adapt as needed for GC region
• Achieve or exceed quality standards and ensure supplier delivery of these standards
• Use PaCE and IHG systems as needed to accomplish these goals including Ariba and IHG Mall administration and championing
• Provide local (GC region) support to category team on building and running events in Ariba where it can be provided by Procurement Sourcing and Operations team in UK.
• Provide tender summaries and initial analysis on sourcing projects that require local language skills.
• Master Data and Benchmarking management in alignment with the SRD through the creation and continuous refinement of playbooks, SKU catalogues
• Ongoing supplier relationship, product quality and supplier performance management
• Ongoing demand planning, forecasting and owner compliance monitoring
