Job summary

Rane Steering Systems Private Limited, part of the Rane Group, seeks an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager to lead New Product Development across plant and functions per SOP. The role requires generating and reviewing master schedules, mitigating risks, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver QCD and project KPIs.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in manufacturing, strong MS-Project/PLM skills, and expertise in IATF/APQP/PPAP/SPC/MSA, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate with relevant years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with MS-Project and PLM.
• Strong knowledge of IATF requirements, APQP/PPAP/SPC/MSA.
• Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage New Product Development across plant and function as per SOP.
• Generate mutually signed master schedule for periodic review to track status.
• Identify issues and risk and develop mitigation plans with team solutions.
• Manage open issue list and track closure as per plan.
• Prepare TG document for review.
• Technical review on change points / concerns / specifications.
• Prepare / update SOP and ensure adherence.
• Participate in customer meetings.
• Set specific standards.
• Manage/facilitate cross-functional teams toward QCD / project KPIs and MIS updates to management.
