Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Cross-Domain Tech Roadmap: Define and maintain the multi-year product roadmap spanning all key automotive electronics domains (like ADAS/AD, Digital Cockpit, Body/Chassis Control etc.).
- Ecosystem & Architecture Tracking: Monitor global shifts in E/E architectures, semiconductor supply chains, software stacks (AUTOSAR, Linux, QNX), and cloud-to-car connectivity.
- M&A and JV/TLA Tech Evaluation: Conduct deep-dive technical due diligence on target companies, startups, and consortium partners to assess the viability, maturity and limitations of their hardware, software, and systems, validation of IP claims and commercial readiness.
- Customer Technical Interface: Serve as the front-end for technical discussions with customers, articulating product capabilities and ecosystem positioning.
- Solution Alignment: Work closely with customers along with our businesses to understand their requirements and align product roadmap with their long-term technology strategies.
- Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory developments to guide product roadmap.
Profile Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field from Tier-1 educational institutions is required.
- Master’s Degree or MBA is highly advantageous but secondary to solid industry experience.
Experience & Skills:
- 10–15 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically within automotive electronics.
- Proven track record in Product Planning, building Technical Roadmap.
- Prior Expertise in supporting or leading technical due diligence for JV/TLA or M&A.
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles
- Broad, working knowledge across multiple automotive electronics domains (ADAS, Infotainment, Telematics, Body Electronics, Powertrain/Electrification, and modern central/zonal architectures).
- Strong understanding of industry standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE) and software-defined vehicle concepts.
