Job description

Job Purpose

To manage pre-contract and post-contract activities for Heavy Industrial projects including Steel Plants, Power Plants, Cement Plants, Industrial EPC Projects, and other large-scale industrial construction projects. Responsible for contract administration, commercial coordination, claims management, and contract compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract Activities

• Review tender documents, BOQs, contract conditions, and scope of work.
• Participate in vendor and subcontractor identification and evaluation.
• Prepare and analyze techno-commercial comparisons.
• Support contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with estimation and procurement teams during bid submissions.

Post-Contract Activities

• Draft, review, and administer subcontract agreements.
• Monitor contractual obligations and project deliverables.
• Manage variation orders, change orders, and contractual claims.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and project requirements.
• Track project milestones linked to contractual payments.

Commercial Management

• Evaluate subcontractor bills and certifications.
• Monitor contract values and budget utilization.
• Support dispute resolution and commercial negotiations.
• Prepare contract status reports and management dashboards.
• Maintain contractual records and documentation.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Teams, Procurement, Planning, and Finance departments.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for contractual matters.
• Support project leadership in risk identification and mitigation.

Required Experience

• 6 to 11 years of experience in Contracts with B.Tech - Civil.
• NICMAR Qualification would be added advantage.
