Agratas – A Tata Enterprise is seeking a Specialist - Civil & Infrastructure to provide expert technical support for planning, design, and execution of civil projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, and drainage. You will ensure compliance with standards and drive sustainable solutions on site.

The role involves coordinating with MEP teams, reviewing tender specs, and leading contractor meetings to meet project targets while solving drawing, material, and labor challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience in email communication and related correspondence.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Strong MS Office skills incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience in creating schedules in MS Project and tracking progress.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project completion within timelines, cost, and quality parameters.
• Oversee civil and related works at site per plan.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with MEP and other teams.
• Make informed decisions based on site conditions daily.
• Lead daily review meetings with consultants and GCs.
• Hold weekly meetings with contractors to meet targets.
• Review tender specs and implement designs on site.
• Create checklists for site review and inspection.
• Resolve project issues related to drawing, materials, and workforce.
• Demonstrate proficiency in civil project execution and management.

About the Role

The Specialist - Civil & Infrastructure provides expert technical support and guidance in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, conducting detailed assessments, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations, and supporting the development of sustainable solutions for projects ranging from roads and bridges to utilities and drainage systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring project completion within timelines, cost, and quality parameters
• Ensuring completion of civil and other necessary jobs at the site according to targeted plan.
• Cross-functional coordination with MEP and other functions.
• He should be a solution-oriented person.
• Ability to make informed decisions based on site conditions on a day-to-day basis
• Conduct daily review meetings with consultants and General contractor.
• Hold weekly meetings with contractors to achieve project targets
• Ability to review tender specifications and implement work as per approved designs at the site/project level
• Capable of creating checklists for site review and inspection purposes
• Expertise in solving project-related difficulties, including drawing, material, and labour challenges
• Proficient in civil project execution and management.

Qualifications

• B. Tech/M. Tech in Civil Engineering

Required Skills

• Experience in email communication & related correspondence
• Good knowledge in Autocad
• Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, & Power point Presentation)
• Experience in creating Schedule in MS Project & Periodic Tracking

Preferred Skills

• Experience about 7-10 years.
• Experience in construction of large scale PEB structures and industrial factories.
• Experience in dealing with contractors, consultants, and clients
• Specific knowledge of P.E.B. (Pre-Engineered Building) structure erection.
• Working experience in construction of WTP/ETP/STP and utilities lines like water/sewerage and ETP lines.
• Specific knowledge of heavy civil foundations civil aspects and super structures along with finishes.
• Knowledge of roads & drain works inside the plant along with utilities corridor development and construction.
