Job summary

Aliaxis in India seeks an experienced Manufacturing Operations & Industrial Engineering leader to drive automation and digital transformation across production lines.

You will lead IE studies, line balancing, TPM/SMED, and process optimization, while coordinating daily production and mentoring cross-functional teams to ensure high quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in engineering is required.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, SMED and CI.
• Hands-on automation and digital transformation experience.
• Knowledge of time and motion studies, MTM, MOST, and process optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and digitalization projects to enhance productivity, quality, efficiency, and process reliability.
• Drive Industrial Engineering initiatives including Time & Motion Studies, MTM, MOST, layout optimization, and process improvements.
• Identify opportunities for line balancing, productivity enhancement, headcount optimization, and low-cost automation.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and TPM practices, including Waste Reduction, SMED, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate daily production activities to achieve operational and production targets.
• Ensure smooth functioning of manufacturing processes and support workplace organization and waste management initiatives.
• Lead production teams and collaborate with cross-functional functions including Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse.
• Train and develop team members on SOPs, safety standards, and operational best practices.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions while fostering a strong culture of safety, health, and environmental compliance.

• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, SMED, and Continuous Improvement
• Hands-on experience in Automation and Digital Transformation projects
• Knowledge of Time & Motion Studies, MTM, MOST, and Process Optimization
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
