Job summary

Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited in India is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to supervise plant preventive maintenance and ensure SOP compliance. You will coordinate with production and QA, plan CAPEX-related modifications, and manage spares and calibration activities.

The role emphasizes cGMP compliance, safety, and readiness for audits, with responsibilities including documentation, online record-keeping, and timely maintenance execution.

Responsibilities

To prepare and maintain SOP and documents related to Plant preventive maintenance.
To conduct routine breakdown maintenance of process / utility equipment.
To follow and implement PPM schedule for effective implementation in shortest duration of time for allequipment in close co-ordination with production dept.
To allocate maintenance job to all the technicians with routine breakdown requisition.
To co-ordinate with inter department staff for any breakdown or any abnormality in process / utilityequipment.
Execution of CAPEX project related to process equipment and area modification.
Ensure timely indenting of spares required for preventive maintenance / breakdown maintenance with closefollow up with seniors/purchase.
To maintain minimum / critical spares for process equipment to reduce downtime.
Preparation of all documents/ schedules/ reports related to process equipment.
Ensure compliance to cGMP requirements & Good Engineering Practice requirements besides otherstatutory laws, rules and regulations.
To maintain all records online related to plant maintenance function.
To support in instrument calibration and equipment validation as per schedule.
To ensure all time facility readiness for any domestic / regulatory Audit.
To maintain safety practice during operation and maintenance.
To support project team in installation and qualification of equipment.
Any work designated by superiors which is not mentioned above.
