About the Role
Sadbhav Futuretech Limited is looking for experienced and technically strong Electrical Engineering professionals for its Ground Mount Solar Projects in Chhattisgarh.
The selected candidates will be responsible for electrical site execution, installation, testing, commissioning and coordination of utility-scale / ground-mounted solar PV projects.
We are looking for professionals with strong hands‑on experience in Solar EPC / Ground Mount Solar / Renewable Energy / Power Projects, particularly in electrical execution.
Key Responsibilities
A. Electrical Project Execution
- Manage and supervise electrical execution activities for Ground Mount Solar PV Projects.
- Execute electrical works as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and project schedule.
- Coordinate and supervise installation activities for:
- Solar PV Modules
- Module Mounting Structures (MMS)
- DC cables and cable routing
- String/central inverters
- AC cables
- LT/HT panels
- Transformers
- HT equipment
- Switchgear
- Junction/combiner boxes
- Earthing systems
- Lightning protection systems
- Electrical equipment foundations/interfaces
- Auxiliary electrical systems
- Ensure proper installation and routing of DC and AC cables.
- Coordinate electrical works with civil and structural teams.
B. HT / LT Electrical Works
- Supervise LT and HT electrical installation activities.
- Coordinate installation of:
- Transformers
- HT panels/switchgear
- RMU/VCB where applicable
- LT panels
- ACDB/DCDB
- Protection systems
- Auxiliary systems
- Ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Coordinate with utility/DISCOM teams and project authorities wherever required.
C. Solar PV Electrical System
- Supervise module/string electrical connections and DC system installation.
- Monitor stringing and DC cable termination activities.
- Ensure proper cable laying, dressing, tagging and termination.
- Monitor inverter installation and commissioning activities.
- Check polarity, insulation resistance and continuity as per approved procedures.
- Coordinate with the testing and commissioning team for electrical equipment.
D. Testing & Commissioning
- Coordinate electrical testing and commissioning activities.
- Support testing of:
- Transformers
- HT/LT panels
- Cables
- Inverters
- Protection systems
- Earthing systems
- Auxiliary systems
- Ensure test reports and commissioning records are properly maintained.
- Coordinate with the commissioning team for successful energization and synchronization.
E. Earthing & Lightning Protection
- Supervise installation of equipment and plant earthing systems.
- Ensure proper earthing of:
- MMS
- Modules
- Inverters
- Transformers
- HT/LT panels
- Structures and other electrical equipment
- Monitor lightning protection system installation.
- Ensure compliance with approved earthing and lightning protection drawings.
F. Electrical Drawings & Technical Coordination
- Read and interpret:
- SLDs
- Electrical layouts
- Cable schedules
- Termination drawings
- Earthing layouts
- Equipment layouts
- Protection drawings
- Coordinate with the Design/Engineering team for technical clarifications.
- Identify site-level technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Verify that site execution is carried out as per approved drawings.
G. Quantity, BOQ & Material Management
- Check electrical quantities against BOQ and approved drawings.
- Monitor material consumption and avoid unnecessary wastage.
- Coordinate with Procurement/Stores teams for timely availability of electrical materials.
- Monitor materials such as:
- Cables
- Cable trays
- Panels
- Transformers
- Switchgear
- Earthing materials
- Electrical accessories
- Verify measurements of electrical works executed by subcontractors.
- Assist in preparation and verification of RA Bills and measurement sheets.
H. Contractor & Manpower Management
- Manage electrical subcontractors and site manpower.
- Allocate daily work activities as per project priorities.
- Monitor contractor productivity and work quality.
- Ensure adequate manpower, tools and equipment are available.
- Coordinate with subcontractors for timely completion of electrical activities.
I. Project Planning & Reporting
- Prepare daily and weekly electrical progress reports.
- Monitor planned vs. actual project progress.
- Track electrical activities against the project schedule.
- Highlight delays, material shortages, technical issues and manpower requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Manager / Site Head for execution planning.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones.
J. Quality & Safety
- Ensure all electrical works comply with approved quality standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and testing.
- Ensure proper documentation of inspections and test reports.
- Follow all electrical safety procedures and HSE requirements.
- Ensure use of appropriate PPE and safe working practices.
- Coordinate with the Safety team for electrical work permits, isolation and other site safety requirements.
- Ensure safe working practices during HT/LT installation and energization activities.

6. Educational Qualification
Mandatory:
- B.E. / B.Tech Electrical Engineering
OR
- Diploma Electrical Engineering
Candidates should have relevant electrical project/site execution experience.
7. Experience Requirement
AM / Engineer – Electrical
Experience: 6–12 Years

8. Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have 6 to 15+ years of relevant electrical project experience.
- Have strong hands‑on experience in electrical site execution.
- Preferably have experience in Ground Mount Solar EPC Projects.
- Can independently manage electrical execution activities.
- Have experience in HT/LT electrical systems.
- Can manage electrical subcontractors and site manpower.
- Understand SLDs, layouts, cable schedules and electrical drawings.
- Have exposure to testing and commissioning.
- Have good knowledge of earthing and lightning protection.
- Can coordinate effectively with Civil, Design, Procurement, QA/QC, SCADA and Safety teams.
- Are willing to work at project sites in Chhattisgarh.
