Job summary

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate Purchase Orders before final approval.
• Verify Last Purchase Price (LPP) and analyse price variances.
• Review RFQs, quotations, comparative statements, and vendor selection rationale.
• Ensure procurement follows approved sourcing and procurement policies.
• Review inventory levels, consumption trends, safety stock, and existing stock availability before approving purchases.
• Verify technical specifications and ensure standardization of materials.
• Check budget availability, cost-centre allocations, and CAPEX/OPEX classification.
• Monitor procurement exceptions, emergency purchases, and single-source procurements.
• Identify cost-saving and working capital improvement opportunities.
• Support internal controls, audits, and procurement governance initiatives.

Qualification & Experience

• MBA/Graduate (Finance or Supply Chain)
• Engineering Degree preferred (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Production)
• 8-15 years of experience in Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Costing, or Manufacturing Operations
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA
