Job summary

R.M. Phosphates & Chemicals seeks an experienced Plant Accounting professional to manage production-related financial transactions and supplier invoices within a manufacturing environment.

You will support monthly closings, RG1 maintenance, and inventory reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a plant setting. The role requires 5–10 years of factory accounts experience, strong accounting knowledge, and proficiency in MS Excel and SAP.

Qualifications

Job description

Plant Accounting & Reporting

• Record all production-related transactions (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
• Verify and record supplier, transporter invoices related to factory purchases.
• Payment process (bank and cash, petty cash payment)
• Maintain RG1 Register
• GST preparation
• Warehouse expense booking and monitoring
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly factory expense reports.
• Assist in monthly closing
• Maintain inventory records of raw materials, packing materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Reconcile physical stock with system/book balances
• Monitor material consumption and wastage
• Verify production reports and material issue/receive notes
• Coordinate with production and store departments
• Record and verify supplier, transporter invoices related to factory purchases
• Prepare internal vouchers (journal, payment, receipt)
• Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes
• Coordinate with Head Office Accounts and Finance Team
• Perform any other task assigned by management from time to time

Required Qualifications

• Master/Bachelors degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Studies

Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in factory/manufacturing accounts

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
