Job Title: Human Resources - Assistant Manager (HR - AM)

Job Summary

Reporting to the Head of HR (India), the Assistant Manager will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the business and operations teams. The role requires collaboration with the global HR team to provide end-to-end HR support, including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Partner with the recruitment team to drive the local hiring process, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.
    • Ensure timely and efficient background verification (BGV) for new hires.
  • Employee Engagement & Development:
    • Conduct regular employee feedback sessions to enhance engagement and refine HR policies.
    • Organize employee engagement activities, including Fun Fridays and CSR initiatives.
    • Manage rewards and recognition programs.
  • HR Operations & Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems and ensure personnel files comply with legal standards.
    • Process payroll inputs, attendance records, bonuses, and reimbursements.
    • Stay updated on labor laws and ensure company compliance.
  • Performance Management:
    • Support managers in conducting performance reviews, addressing performance gaps, and executing improvement plans.
    • Monitor the Performance Improvement Review (PIR) process and share monthly updates with Corporate HR.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Address and resolve complex employee relations issues, including investigations and recommending corrective actions.
    • Conduct exit interviews, identify trends, and report findings to leadership.
  • HR Projects:
    • Collaborate on global HR initiatives such as succession planning and employee training.
    • Provide recommendations for process improvements aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, XLRI) are a plus.
  • 4+ years of professional HR experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HR/payroll systems (UKG preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Office-based role in Noida (Sector 62).
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs may be required.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods with frequent bending and stooping.
