Void & Mass Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Landscape Architect to support planning, design, documentation, and execution of landscape projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, institutional, and mixed-use developments.

You will work with senior team members to develop functional, aesthetically pleasing and sustainable landscape solutions, coordinating with architects, interior designers, and other consultants. The role emphasizes drawing standards and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of landscape architecture principles and site planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of visualization tools like SketchUp/Lumion/Enscape or Revit.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of plant species, irrigation, drainage, and landscape materials.
• Good design sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing landscape concepts, master plans, site plans, planting plans, and detailed landscape drawings.
• Develop design proposals based on project requirements, site conditions, climate, context and client brief.
• Prepare 2D drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, details, and presentation drawings.
• Assist in selecting and documenting plants, trees, shrubs, ground covers, hardscape materials, and landscape elements.
• Prepare planting plans, hardscape plans, irrigation layouts, landscape details, and schedules under senior guidance.
• Assist in developing BOQ, quantity calculations, material specs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate landscape drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and other consultants.
• Participate in site visits, surveys, inspections, and coordination meetings.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Landscape Architect to join our Landscape Architecture team. The candidate will assist in the planning, design, documentation, and execution of landscape projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, institutional, and mixed-use developments.

The role involves working closely with Senior Landscape Architects, Architects, Interior Designers, and other consultants to develop functional, aesthetically pleasing, sustainable, and technically coordinated landscape solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of landscape concepts, master plans, site plans, planting plans, and detailed landscape drawings.
• Develop landscape design proposals based on project requirements, site conditions, climate, context, and client brief.
• Prepare 2D drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, details, and presentation drawings.
• Assist in the selection and documentation of plants, trees, shrubs, ground covers, hardscape materials, and landscape elements.
• Prepare planting plans, hardscape plans, irrigation layouts, landscape details, and schedules under senior guidance.
• Assist in developing BOQ, quantity calculations, material specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate landscape drawings and designs with architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and other project consultants.
• Participate in site visits, site surveys, inspections, and coordination meetings as required.
• Assist in reviewing site execution and identifying deviations from approved landscape drawings and specifications.
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards, material palettes, and other project documentation.
• Incorporate feedback from Senior Landscape Architects, project teams, and clients into design development.
• Maintain proper drawing standards, documentation, revisions, and project records.
• Stay updated with landscape design trends, materials, planting techniques, sustainable practices, and industry developments.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned drawings and deliverables in accordance with project schedules.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of Landscape Architecture principles, planting design, hardscape design, and site planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion/Enscape, Revit, or other visualization/design software will be an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of plant species, horticulture, irrigation, drainage, and landscape materials.
• Good design sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Good communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
