Job summary

Prozeal Green Energy is seeking a senior Project Leader to oversee Solar-Wind Hybrid EPC projects across multiple sites. You will develop execution strategies, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery within quality, safety, cost, and contractual constraints.

Ideal candidates have 13–17 years in Renewable Energy EPC, with 5+ years managing utility-scale projects and a track record of delivering large-scale initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Master's Degree / MBA (preferred).
• 13-17 years of relevant experience in Renewable Energy EPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of Solar-Wind Hybrid EPC projects across multiple locations.
• Develop comprehensive project execution strategies and implementation plans.
• Ensure timely completion of projects while meeting quality, safety, cost, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve execution challenges.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Design, Procurement, and Construction teams.
• Review project engineering deliverables including Civil, Structural, Electrical, SCADA, Transmission & Grid Connectivity.
• Manage project managers and site teams for solar, wind, pooling substations, transmission lines, and evacuation systems.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for procurement of critical equipment; monitor vendor performance and delivery schedules.
• Review EPC contracts and ensure contractual compliance; monitor budgets and profitability.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports; track KPIs related to schedule, cost, quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

• Lead execution of Solar-Wind Hybrid EPC projects across multiple locations.
• Develop comprehensive project execution strategies and implementation plans.
• Ensure timely completion of projects while meeting quality, safety, cost, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve execution challenges.

Engineering & Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with Engineering, Design, Procurement, and Construction teams.
• Review project engineering deliverables including:
  • Civil
  • Structural
  • Electrical
  • SCADA
  • Transmission & Grid Connectivity
• Ensure compliance with applicable IS, IEC, CEA, and statutory standards.

Site Execution

• Manage project managers and site teams for solar, wind, pooling substations, transmission lines, and evacuation systems.
• Ensure efficient resource planning and deployment.
• Monitor daily progress through MIS and project review mechanisms.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Coordinate with Supply Chain for procurement of critical equipment.
• Monitor vendor performance and delivery schedules.
• Support technical evaluation of EPC vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.

Commercial & Contract Management

• Review EPC contracts and ensure contractual compliance.
• Monitor project budgets and profitability.
• Evaluate change orders, variations, and claims.
• Coordinate with Finance for billing, certification, and project cash flow.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary interface with clients, consultants, DISCOMs, SLDC/RLDC, OEMs, and statutory authorities.
• Conduct project review meetings with customers.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction throughout project execution.

HSE & Quality

• Promote a strong safety culture across all project sites.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies.
• Monitor implementation of QA/QC procedures and quality standards.

Risk Management

• Identify execution risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Track project risks and escalate critical issues to management.
• Ensure business continuity during execution.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop project teams.
• Drive performance management and capability development.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Reporting

• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports.
• Present project status to senior management.
• Track KPIs related to schedule, cost, quality, safety, and productivity.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Master\'s Degree / MBA (preferred).

Experience

• 13-17 years of relevant experience in Renewable Energy EPC.
• Minimum 5 years managing utility-scale Solar-Wind Hybrid projects.
• Experience handling projects ranging from 100 MW to 1 GW is preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale renewable energy projects.
