Assistant General Manager – Operations
The Assistant General Manager – Operations will support the overall management and execution of business operations, ensuring efficient processes, high service standards, regulatory compliance, and achievement of organizational objectives. The role will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, improve productivity, optimize resources, and support continuous business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Assist in planning, managing, and supervising day‑to‑day operations to ensure smooth, timely, and cost‑effective execution.
- Support the General Manager or senior leadership in implementing operational strategies, policies, and business plans.
- Monitor operational performance against defined objectives, service‑level standards, productivity targets, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure that operating procedures, workflows, and internal controls are consistently followed.
- Identify process gaps, operational risks, and recurring issues, and implement practical corrective actions.
- Coordinate with department heads and operational teams to maintain continuity and efficiency across business activities.
Team Leadership and People Management
- Lead, guide, and motivate operational teams to achieve performance, quality, and service objectives.
- Allocate responsibilities, establish priorities, and monitor individual and team performance.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, performance reviews, and employee development initiatives.

- Support the preparation and administration of operational budgets, forecasts, and expenditure plans.
- Monitor costs and resource utilization to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Optimize the use of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and other operational resources.
- Review vendor, supplier, and service‑provider performance where applicable.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional experience in operations management, business administration, service delivery, production, logistics, retail, hospitality, or a comparable operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising teams and coordinating cross‑functional operations.
- Strong understanding of operational planning, performance management, process improvement, and resource optimization.
- Ability to analyze reports and operational data and convert insights into actionable improvements.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, compliance practices, risk controls, and standard operating procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or comparable productivity and reporting tools.
