Job summary

JobItUs is seeking an experienced maintenance leader in Bharuch District, Gujarat, to ensure the reliability and efficiency of utility systems exceeding 25 MW power capacity. The role involves overseeing maintenance operations, planning CAPEX projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will manage multiple utility facilities and work closely with production and engineering teams while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant maintenance, reliability, operation, and maintenance of all utility equipment.
• Plan, execute, and commission capital expenditure projects within budget and timeline.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns.
• Conduct troubleshooting and failure investigations to implement corrective actions.
• Ensure efficient operation of utility systems with a power capacity exceeding 25 MW.
• Manage various utility facilities including Ice Plant, RO Water System, etc.
• Optimize utility consumption and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare maintenance budgets and monitor KPIs.
• Coordinate with production, projects, and vendors for smooth operations.
• Lead maintenance teams and ensure adherence to schedules.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead plant maintenance, reliability, operation, and maintenance of all utility equipment to ensure maximum plant availability.
• Plan, execute, and commission capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects within budget and timeline.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns and downtime.
• Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and failure investigations to identify gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of utility systems with a power capacity exceeding 25 MW.
• Manage the following utility facilities:
  • Ice Plant
  • RO Water System
  • DM Water System
  • Brine System
  • Chiller System (up to -70°C)
  • Chilled Water System
  • Nitrogen Generation & Distribution System
  • Compressed Air System
  • Steam Generation & Distribution System
  • Water Management System
• Optimize utility consumption, improve equipment reliability, and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, statutory, and quality standards.
• Prepare maintenance budgets, monitor KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with production, projects, engineering, and external vendors for smooth plant operations.
• Lead maintenance teams, develop technical capabilities, and ensure adherence to SOPs and maintenance schedules.
