Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Chennai is seeking an Assistant General Manager – Pricing and Costing. The role requires CA/CMA qualification and 10–15 years of costing and pricing experience with strong SAP CO/FICO knowledge.

You will review BOM/Routing, analyze cost variances, and prepare cost sheets for major SKUs, while supporting inventory valuation and MIS for business verticals. This position is based in Chennai.

Qualifications

• CA/CMA with 10–15 years of experience in costing and pricing.
• Proficient in SAP CO and FICO modules.
• Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Review BOM and Routing SKU-wise for all products.
• Share observations with technical team for BOM/Routing updates.
• Product/business cost analysis by customer/SKU; monitor cost variances.
• Review standard vs actual cost; update costing norms.
• Prepare cost sheets for major SKUs and analyze cost structures.
• Review SKU-wise sales price and cost analysis.
• Value inventories; perform ageing analysis and inter-plant cost comparisons.
• Prepare and analyse cost accounting records for business insights.
• Ensure compliance with cost audit procedures and related standards.
• Monitor financial data and prepare MIS as needed.
• Assist in finalisation of books of accounts – monthly/quarterly/annual.

• Analysis on cost variance and preparing cost sheet for all major SKUs
• Review of SKU wise Sales Price and Cost analysis
• Valuation of Inventories, ageing and analysis
• Inter Plant comparison of Cost components. Analysis of Cost Structure
• Preparation and analysis of Cost Accounting records for meaningful insights for Business Verticals
