  • Knowledge of NPOP and USDA NOP Standards.
  • Communication skills, Team Management, Farmers' handling Skills, Planning Skills. Preferred Industry/Locational Factor: Organic Sector

Responsibilities

  • Execution of crop plan and procurement of organic produce from farmer groups, ensuring volume and quality targets are met to support financial objectives.
  • Maintaining accurate certification and traceability records to avoid compliance penalties or rejection of produce, protecting revenue.
  • Supporting certification bodies during inspections by providing complete and accurate documentation.
  • Ensuring farmer groups follow organic protocols to maintain credibility and meet customer expectations for certified organic produce.
  • Providing timely updates to management regarding crop progress, field risks, and compliance status.
  • Working closely with farmer groups in rural areas to ensure adoption of organic farming practices.
  • Regular field visits to monitor crop stages, validate organic protocol adherence, and support production targets.
  • Training farmers on organic cultivation techniques, soil fertility management, and eco-friendly pest/disease control measures.
  • Execution of crop plans and ensuring proper post-harvest handling to maintain organic integrity. Maintaining accurate traceability systems, including digital documentation and records.
  • Continuous upskilling in organic standards such as NPOP, NOP, and EU regulations.
  • Enhancing technical knowledge in soil health management, pest/disease control, and sustainable crop
  • Improving digital competency in Excel, MS Word, and IT-based traceability tools to streamline documentation.
  • Identifying new methods to improve farmer training, audit readiness, and production efficiency.
