Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in India is seeking a qualified Failure Analysis professional to lead sample preparation and analysis activities for development projects. You will ensure equipment is maintained, comply with 5S and safety rules, and support ongoing failure mode investigations with root-cause evaluation.

The role requires a Diploma in engineering, 5–6 years in semiconductor failure analysis, and willingness to work 12-hour day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechatronic, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent).
• SPM with Mathematics & English passed.
• 5–6 years in QM Failure Analysis in Semiconductor.
• Experience in sample preparation and Failure Analysis tools.
• Knowledge of semiconductor backend process.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts (Day & Night rotation).

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation for development projects.
• Maintain analytical equipment in good condition.
• Fulfill tasks and targets assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure 5S and safety compliance for machines and workstations.
• Dispose of chemical and critical waste.
• Ensure training not overdue in system.
• Communicate with engineers and internal teams.
• Support ad-hoc requests from supervisor.

Job description

Failure Analysis methods and development related to Failure modes, FA lab tools implementation, Failure analysis execution, root cause evaluation, IPI.

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

• Perform sample preparation activities for new and existing development / technology projects / RE.
• Responsible for maintaining analytical equipment under their care to ensure always in good condition.
• Fulfill tasks and targets which will be deployed from time to time.
• Ensure compliance of 5S and safety rules for all machines, equipment and workstations.
• Responsible for disposal of chemical waste and critical waste.
• Ensure all mandatory / refresher training not overdue in system.
• Have good communication skills to interact with engineers and internal team.
• To support ad-hoc request assign by superior.

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Mechatronic, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent).
• Must passed SPM including subject Mathematics & English.
• Minimum 5 - 6 years of experience in QM Failure Analysis from Semiconductor.
• Experience in sample preparation and Failure Analysis analysis tools.
• Knowledge in semiconductor backend process.
• Must be able to work in 12 hours Shift (Day & Night rotation)
