Job summary

PSP Projects Limited, a leading construction company, seeks an Assistant Engineer for EHS to oversee safety at project sites. You will monitor compliance, review work procedures from an EHS perspective, and coordinate with site engineers to implement corrective actions.

The role involves logging observations and supporting training activities. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of EHS experience on construction sites and a proactive approach to maintaining safe work environments.

Responsibilities

• Round the work site periodically to verify that the work is carried out undersafe conditions, with no violations of EHS requirements.
• Assistto evaluate risk for all activities and integrate EHS requirements foreffectively managing the risk while planning for the activity.
• Advisepromptly the construction supervisors and workers of the corrective actionwhen any unsafe conditions or violations are observed.
• Checkeach work procedure from the EHS point of view and advise the constructionsupervisors before commencement of work and while working.
• Closelywork with PSP Site EHS Lead and ensure that no contradictory work methodsare practiced during construction.
• SupportEHS Lead in preparing incident report and its investigation.
• Checkon the use of all types of personal protective equipment effectiveness andsuggest improvements.
• MaintainDaily EHS observation log book at site.
• ParticipateTool Box talks along with Site Engineers/supervisors.
• SupportEHS Lead for EHS activities such as Training Program, Motivational &Promotion activities.
