Location- Mumbai

• Excellent in communication skills, Excellent in interpersonal skills / articulation would be required to interact with senior level management
• Having work experience in handling multiple projects & group of EHS team - interior Fit Out / Base build / Industrial / Data Center projects.
• Developing documents, executing Plans, reviewing implements, and coordinates program with PJM & EHS Team to reduce and eliminate incidents.
• Excellent knowledge in applicable statutory norms & local laws
• Conducts or directs research studies to identify and evaluate hazards and suggest proactive control measures
• Develops accident-prevention and loss-control systems and programs for incorporation into operational policies.
• Coordinates safety activities with PJM / site team and client to ensure implementation of safety activities Compiles, analyses, and interprets statistical data related to exposure factors concerning OHSE and prepares reports for information to management.
• Evaluation of safety competency of all contractor engineers and supervisors as per Client guidelines.
• 100% Safety induction / reinduction of workforce at the project site
• Ensuring issue of access cards for all workforce at site, Strict monitoring of workforce at site. Ensure nil deviation.
• Ensuring 100% safety inspection of all sites with respect to work activities before approving safety clearance on work permit. Ensure strict compliance of work permit authorization matrix.
• Ensure 100% compliance towards traffic management, electrical safety, height works, excavation work, lifting of materials, scaffolding erection & dismantling, use of different mobile equipment’s, erection, dismantling and use of different cranes, use of different construction vehicle, concreate mixers, confined space work safety, painting work, fabrication & erection of structures, stacking of materials, waste management. Use of different power tools, tools & tackles, lifting machineries, handling of compressed gas cylinders including gas cutting sets, concreating work, LOTO etc based on work activity through strict safety rounds. Ensure identification of violations for necessary actions.
• Ensure document of HIRA/JSA/Risk Assessment, method statements of all activities to be carried out by contractors. Guide to contractors for ensuring safety requirements.
• Identify noncompliance of PPE uses at site. Keeping record of issue of PPE's. Inspection of all PPE's with proper documents. Statutory compliances related to PPE.
• Ensure inspection of the site round the clock, Gemba walk & identify unsafe acts / conditions / violation and ensure CAPA. Keep track of all such inspections. Initiate disciplinary action as per consequence matrix for violations
• Weekly Safety meeting report should be shared with all Client & project stakeholders on every week with safety data like safe man hours, safety matrix and scores (TSI).
• Ensure close supervision of site activity for 100% Compliance to construction safety guidelines and other Client safety requirements.
• Report all incidents (near miss, first aid, MTC, LTI, Fire, Dangerous occurrences etc.) to Client site Project Head, Unit Safety In charge, Cluster Safety Head immediately on occurrence, do investigation of the incident for necessary CAPA to avoid reoccurrence.
• Ensure EHS Documents for the project site as per the provided Master List Data.
• Assist site team to review EHS considerations for selection of contractors, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure proper documentation of all safety information's, keeping of all records, inspection sheets and share safety statistics on weekly and monthly basis. Ensure zero deviations. Ensure tracking of all violation and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure daily TBT for workforce. Conduct different Classroom training and drills for awareness as per ERP. Ensure all emergency safety equipment's & facilities are in order at site. Ensure inspection of all emergency safety equipment's. Organize safety campaigns.
• Ensure strict compliance to BOCW Act / applicable state rules & other applicable rules, Organize safety meetings, track compliance status. Ensure compliance and record of Third-Party Inspection certificate of all lifting tools, tackles, lifting machines, construction vehicles, safety belt, safety net, scaffoldings etc.
• Ensure proper housekeeping & take care to avoid fire incident.
• Stop job in case of unsafe activities / conditions / violations / noncompliance to work permit authorization matrix/ work permit safety requirements/ abnormal weather conditions (heavy wind / rain/ lightening), any reasons where there is possibility of incident. Consult Project Head / Client Site Safety Head for any concerns. Ensure that all violation is captured, and action taken as per consequence matrix.
• Ensure strict safety compliances and supervision to prevent incident at site. Zero deviation towards safety documentation.
• Preferably work in high rise residential building or Commercial building with Fit out work
• Be an active member of site team and provide support and advice on EHS related matters.
• Being a subject matter expert, focus on continuous development and growth of business.
• Establish and communicate site emergency plan and procedures and to carry out review and update in regular intervals.
• To ensure that all latest legislation, EHS code of practices, standards and procedures are communicated to all concerned.
