Job summary

Allot Communications in Mumbai invites an experienced Assistant Controller to join our global finance team. You will oversee month-end closings, manage subsidiaries across countries, ensure US GAAP compliance, and handle payroll and supplier payments in a fast-paced Hi-Tech environment.

You will contribute to monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial analyses, prepare tax and statutory reports, and take on ad-hoc tasks as required. Fluency in English and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CPA with Big 4 internship is an advantage.
• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting.
• Fluent in English; strong Excel skills; US GAAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subsidiaries in different countries.
• Manage month-end closing processes.
• Ensure accounting compliance with US GAAP.
• Oversee payroll and supplier payments.
• Perform financial analysis of monthly, quarterly and yearly results for subsidiaries' P&L and balance sheet.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and taxes including filing of tax and statutory reports.
• Undertake ad-hoc financial tasks.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a talented Assistant Controller to join our finance department for various tasks and responsibilities.

What you’ll do:

• Responsibility over the subsidiaries in different countries
• Month-end closing processes
• Monitoring accounting in accordance with US-GAAP
• Responsibility over the payroll and suppliers
• Financial analysis of monthly, quarterly and yearly results for the subsidiaries P&L and BS
• Compliance with the local law and taxes in different countries, including filing of tax and statutory reports
• Undertaking ad-hoc financial tasks

Requirements :

What you should have:

• CPA from a Big 4 firm internship - advantage
• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
• Extensive knowledge in US GAAP
• Experience auditing of Global companies
• Experience as controller/assistant in Global Hi-Tech companies, an advantage
• Must be fluent in English
• Independent, detail oriented, a team player, a great multitasker
• Willingness to commit to the job and for long hours when needed
• Strong Excel skills
