Job summary

Pratiti Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Performance Analyst to monitor and analyze plant performance across solar assets. You will generate actionable insights, train customers on product features, and collaborate with O&M teams to drive improvements and reporting accuracy.

The role requires hands-on analytics, experience with RCAs, and strong communication with international stakeholders. Fluency in English and proficiency in Python, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential.

Qualifications

• B. Tech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Renewable Energy.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in solar energy domain.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as performance analyst.
• Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing.
• Excellent analytics and reasoning skills.
• Ability to interact with international stakeholders, vendors and technology service providers.
• Expert in computer skills such as Python, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, etc.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance and track budgeted vs actual daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly metrics.
• Analyze performance across equipment, technology, geography and asset age.
• Prepare monthly insights reports for O&M and customers.
• Keep track of plant performance and report shortfalls to customers.
• Run deep-dive analyses to identify root causes of under-performance using RCA methods.
• Train customers on product features and solve pain points in performance analysis.

• Monitoring plant performance budgeted vsactual Daily, Weekly, Monthly Quarterly and Yearly basis.
  
• Analyzing performance across equipment,technology, geography & age of assets.
  
• Preparing the Monthly insights reports forO&M, customers, etc
  
• Keeping track on plant performance andreporting the shortfall for attention to the customer.
  
• Performing plant performance analysis andkeeping track of O&M KPI’s like, PR, PA, GA, MTTR, MTBF, ResponseTime, Resolution Time etc.
  
• Training customer on product features andsolving their pain-points in performance analysis.
  
• Running deep dive analysis to find out the RCAof ongoing challenges or under-performance using various RCAmethodologies.
  
• Generating actionable insights for powerplants performance improvements.
  
• Coordinate with O&M team and conduct newinitiatives for performance improvements programs for customers.
  
• Assisting development of Apollo platform andenhancement for Centralized Monitoring System and Computer MaintenanceManagement System (Digital O&M Portal)
  
• Exploring the new and global benchmarkingacross the industry and setting up the best practices organization.
  
• Planning and Managing Drone Thermal Imaging,IV Curve Testing and other predictive maintenance activity. Keeping trackof Preventive Maintenance by putting it on CMMS and ensuring adherence.
  

Key essentials for the job:

• Technical knowledge – does the candidatereally know how a solar / wind plant functions? How most equipment work?What are the general failure modes? What are the key issues generallyobserved. How is the plant designed, what are the key design factors, whatare the key indicators of performance/ loss. Hands on knowledge ofmaintenance is a plus +.
  
• Exposure – The incumbent needs to have seen atleast 3 -4 plants if not more - we need someone who has exposure tomultiple scenarios to ensure they add value to all our customers , will begreat to have someone from a Services background from companies like Sgurr/ kWh Diagnostics / Tractabel / Gensol / Any of the large IPPs etc
  
• Communication and Structured thinking – Veryessential skill set since most of our team members lack this skill today –we need someone to come and fill that gap – someone who can communicatewith customers / understand the issue at the solar / wind plant, canidentify and communicate the same across the internal and externalstakeholders. Finally assimilate the knowledge, add to the process forunder-performance analysis – contribute to the product and build a niceclean report which is submittable to the end customer.
