Job summary

Coforge is seeking a detail-oriented Fixed Asset Analyst to support global fixed asset accounting, reporting, and analytics under the Global Asset Controller function. The role focuses on maintaining an accurate Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and performing reconciliations across multiple entities.

You will analyze depreciation, track asset movements, and assist with month-end close, audits, and internal controls, while driving process improvements and automation within asset accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
• Experience in Fixed Asset Accounting and Reporting.
• Strong understanding of Fixed Asset Accounting, Capitalization, Depreciation, and Asset Lifecycle Management.
• Experience in FAR management and FAR-to-GL reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with Asset Transfers, Asset Accounting, and Material Movement reporting.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills; exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Good understanding of internal controls and audit requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) across global entities.
• Perform monthly FAR-to-GL reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare fixed asset MIS, analytics, and management reports.
• Analyze depreciation expenses and ensure accurate accounting treatment.
• Track asset additions, disposals, transfers, capitalization, and retirements.
• Monitor asset and material movements across locations/entities and ensure proper documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing required schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analytics for management reviews and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within asset accounting processes.
