Job summary

Altraize in Karnataka, India is seeking skilled Assembly Technicians – Electrical with 1–3 years of experience in electrical assembly and manufacturing. You will be responsible for assembling electrical components, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring products meet safety standards.

Candidates should have strong reading of electrical drawings and wiring diagrams, and be comfortable working in shifts in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with multimeter testing is preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI Electrical or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of crimping, cable termination and connector assembly.
• Familiarity with basic electrical testing equipment such as multimeter.
• Adherence to safety practices in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical assembly and wiring as per drawings and work instructions.
• Assemble components, panels, control boxes, harnesses and related assemblies.
• Read wiring diagrams and schematics to guide assembly.
• Conduct basic electrical testing and troubleshoot assemblies.
• Use tools safely and maintain proper housekeeping at workstation.
• Identify and rectify assembly defects and wiring issues in process.
• Maintain production targets and follow SOPs including 5S and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical assembly and wiring as per engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Assemble electrical components, panels, control boxes, harnesses, and related assemblies.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform cable cutting, crimping, termination, routing, and connector assembly.
• Conduct basic electrical testing and troubleshooting of assembled components.
• Use electrical and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Identify and rectify assembly defects and wiring issues.
• Perform in-process quality checks and ensure assemblies meet specifications.
• Maintain production targets and follow standard operating procedures.
• Follow 5S, safety, quality, and production standards.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at the workstation.

Required Skills

• 3–5years of experience in Electrical Assembly / Electrical Manufacturing / Panel Wiring.
• ITI Electrical / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical components and wiring.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of crimping, cable termination, soldering, and connector assembly.
• Basic knowledge of electrical testing equipment such as multimeter.
