Job summary

You will read engineering drawings, follow quality standards, and contribute to on-time production while improving first-time-right assembly and reducing waste. The role emphasizes safety and continuous improvement in a Lean environment.

Qualifications

• ITI/ Diploma in mechanical engineering or related trade.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and enclosure systems.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and quality inspection practices.

Job Summary

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling electrical panel enclosures and related sheet metal components according to approved engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and quality standards. The role ensures accurate identification of fabricated parts, proper assembly of enclosure components, compliance with quality requirements, and timely completion of production schedules.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in assembly operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly processes.
• Experience in Electrical Panel Enclosure Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and enclosure systems.
• Exposure to quality inspection practices and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
