Job summary

Job description

Purpose of the role

The incumbent in this role will be responsible for supervising the end-to-end assembly process of products, with a strong focus on meeting safety and quality standards.

Technical Skills Required

• GD&T knowledge
• Knowledge of assembly tools such as torque wrench, spanners, pneumatic tools, etc.
• Knowledge of fasteners, their applications, and different types of joints
• Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, Poka Yoke, 3M, Kaizen, 5S, Jigs & Fixtures Basic knowledge of SAP for material requisition and material consumption
• Lean Manufacturing
• Strong knowledge in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Knowledge of electrical assembly and wiring, including cable routing, crimping, termination, and connector assembly
• Knowledge of electrical components such as MCBs, relays, contactors, switches, sensors, terminals, connectors, and cables
• Knowledge of cable dressing, harness assembly, wire identification, ferruling, and proper termination practices
• Awareness of electrical safety practices, including isolation/LOTO, grounding, and safe handling of electrical equipment
