Job Purpose

Produces equipment of steel cold rolling mills & process lines with high accuracy.

Key Result Area

Maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering drawing knowledge & study.
• Mechanical parts/components identification & use of knowledge.
• Plan assembly sequence by studying drawings, specifications, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Hand assembly experience for steel cold rolling mill and process line equipment.
• Handling & use of measurement equipment.
• Use of mechanical tools & tackles.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.
• Problem identification and troubleshooting.
• Ensures compliance to quality, safety & environmental standards as per ISO 9001.

Qualification and Experience

ITI/NCTVT course from a recognized institute with around 5-7 years experience of assembly in any engineering industry.

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of Piping and drawing knowledge.
• Expert in use of measuring instruments.
• Expert in machine building with accuracy and specifications.
