Job summary

Tata Play Fiber is seeking a Field Service Delivery professional to oversee end-to-end FTTH network deployment with partner teams. You will coordinate survey, ROW approvals, and infrastructure work, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities include daily progress reporting, asset management, and troubleshooting network issues to maintain service levels. Prior experience in GPON/GEPON/PON deployments is preferred, with a strong focus on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Ground Survey and ROW management skills are preferred.
• Experience with FTTH/GPON/GEPON/PON deployment and OSP workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end FTTH network rollout with partner teams.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to SOPs across deployments.
• Maintain DPRs, track material usage, and ensure timely punch-point clearance.

What you’ll be doing:

To ensure planning and deployment ofNetwork of FTTH (GPON/GEPON/PON) equipment’s

and driving partner teams for the executionof Outside Plant (OSP) Network covering end to end

requirements and ensuring all the businessservices are offered.

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Ground Survey:
  • Capture soil strata, utility information,Right of Way formalities and charges for Underground and Aerial permissions.
  • Collect Electric/Light Poles information,building level information, and perform home pass surveys as per company format.
• Dark Fiber Routes and TelecomInfrastructure:
  • Conduct surveys for Dark Fiber routes,Telecom HH, and BTS as per operator[1]provided information.
  • Identify and finalize TPF POP locations.
• Data Management:
  • Digitize information captured in GIS orequivalent platforms.
  • Handle ROW applications and follow-up forDemand Notes and subsequent permissions.
• Partner Onboarding and Network Rollout:
  • Onboard partner teams for execution.
  • Oversee end-to-end rollout of FTTHnetworks through partner teams, ensuring adherence to Quality standards, TAT, andKPIs.
• Project Management:
  • Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR) andoversee material consumption bookings done by partner teams.
  • Ensure First Time Right deployment,conduct Acceptance tests directly or through third-party agencies, and clearpunch points within defined TAT.
• Safety and Team Management:
  • Ensure strict adherence to safetymeasures.
  • Manage and supervise large partner teamsand certify their invoices for work executed within defined timelines.
• Infrastructure Work:
  • Oversee POP Infra work, including theinstallation and grouting of Networking Racks, I&C of Battery terminals, SMPS,Air-conditioning units, electrical work, and OLT installation through partner teams.
• Network Reporting and Maintenance:
  • Provide daily dashboard reporting forNetwork Uptime and MTTR for faults and alarms from the OSP network.
  • Work with complex network and switchingsystems, configure networks for smooth data service operations, and resolvatechnical issues promptly.
• Equipment Management:
  • Oversee new and existing telecomequipment, hardware, and software upgrades, maintaining hardware faults at 1% ofinstalled network elements.
  • Generate RMAs for hardware inventory withrespective vendors.
  • Manage spare parts, ensuring timelyavailability and replacements.
• Work Order Management:
  • Handle work order management within TAT,and oversee material tracking and management.
  • Perform PMT of ISP equipment as perschedule and provide field support.
• Field Team Guidance:
  • Guide field teams in restoring hardwareand software faults.

• Experience: 3-6 years in functionaldomain and Specialist knowledge in Technology – GPON/ GEPON/ PON.
