Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a senior professional to own end-to-end execution for client assignments in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise bookkeeping, accounting, taxation and compliance work, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.

Lead and mentor a team, manage client relationships, and identify cross-selling opportunities to grow revenue. You will also drive SOP improvements and robust quality controls across functions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution and timely delivery of client assignments.
• Review GST, TDS, accounting schedules, reconciliations, payroll and compliance work.
• Allocate work, monitor progress and ensure timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain compliance calendars and complete recurring assignments on time.
• Review monthly MIS, management reports and Virtual CFO deliverables.
• Lead, mentor and develop the team to achieve high-quality execution.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and support revenue growth.
• Drive process improvements and SOP development to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Execution & Delivery (Primary Responsibility):

• Own end-to-end execution and timely delivery of all client assignments.
• Supervise and review bookkeeping, accounting, taxation and compliance work before Partner review.
• Review GST returns, TDS compliances, accounting schedules, reconciliations, payroll and other regulatory compliances.
• Allocate work, monitor progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain compliance calendars and ensure timely completion of all recurring assignments.
• Review monthly MIS, management reports and Virtual CFO deliverables.
• Support due diligence, certification and other special assignments.
• Improve SOP’s, checklists and internal processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Ensure minimal rework through robust quality reviews and process controls.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor and develop the team to achieve high-quality execution.
• Drive accountability, productivity and continuous learning within the team.
• Resolve team and delivery escalations and ensure seamless coordination across functions.

Client Relationship & Business Development:

• Act as the primary relationship manager for assigned retainership clients.
• Coordinate with clients for information, follow-ups and issue resolution.
• Ensure exceptional client service and proactive communication.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling services within existing client accounts.
• Support preparation of commercial proposals and contribute to revenue growth from existing clients.
