Job summary

Zensar Technologies seeks an AES - Application Modernization expert with 4-9 years of AS-400 experience to lead a developers’ team. You will guide development, support, and maintenance of complex modules using AS400, ILE, RPGILE, Cobol, and Db2, while applying Agile practices to deliver reliable solutions.

Strong Azure and AI hands-on experience, coupled with debugging skills and stakeholder communication, will be essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-9 years of experience in AS-400 senior development.
• Solid expertise in AS400, ILE concept, Free Format (RPGILE), Cobol, and Db2; IBM i System knowledge, Azure & AI hands-on experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of Scrum and Azure DevOps, with experience in Azure.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of scrum and ADO, with experience in Azure.
• Experience in application development and a deep understanding of software development principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Certifications in Azure and AI are preferred but not mandatory.
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• A strong desire to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
