Job summary

Zensar Technologies in Maharashtra is seeking an AES - Application Modernization expert with 4–9 years of AS400 experience to lead a development team and drive complex module delivery. The role requires hands-on expertise in AS400, ILE, RPGILE, Cobol, and Db2, with exposure to Azure services.

You will coach junior developers, ensure adherence to Agile practices, and contribute to the design and integration of web services within our modular architecture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-9 years of experience as an AS-400 Senior Developer.
• Strong expertise in AS400, ILE concept, Free Format (RPGILE), Cobol, and Db2.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-9 years of experience as an AS-400 Senior Developer.


• Solid expertise in AS400, ILE concept, Free Format (RPGILE), Cobol, and Db2.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.


• Good working knowledge of scrum and ADO, with experience in Azure.


• Experience in application development and a deep understanding of software development principles.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Certifications in Azure and AI are preferred but not mandatory.


• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.


• A strong desire to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
