Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Aruba Wireless Network Engineer with strong experience in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and managing enterprise wireless networks. The ideal candidate should possess hands‑on expertise in Aruba Wireless solutions, Mobility Controllers, Access Points, Aruba Central, and network security technologies. The role requires ownership of wireless infrastructure operations, performance optimization, incident resolution, and support for transformation initiatives in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and manage Aruba Wireless Access Points (AP‑505, AP‑515, AP‑535, or equivalent models).
• Configure and support Aruba Mobility Controllers (MM/MC) and wireless infrastructure.
• Manage Aruba Central and AirWave for monitoring, reporting, and centralized wireless administration.
• Design and implement wireless network solutions, including SSIDs, VLAN mappings, RF profiles, QoS, and mobility features.
• Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, performance, roaming, interference, and authentication issues.
• Support Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager for 802.1X authentication, device profiling, NAC policies, guest access, and role‑based access.
• Perform RF site survey analysis and optimize wireless coverage and capacity.
• Configure and maintain security standards across wireless networks.
• Work closely with network, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and remediate issues before user impact.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, and configuration standardization activities.
• Support incident, problem, change, and service request management processes following ITIL practices.
• Create and maintain network diagrams, operational runbooks, and technical documentation.
• Participate in wireless transformation, migration, and modernization projects.
• Provide on‑call support and assist during critical network outages when required.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong experience with Aruba Wireless Solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with Aruba Mobility Controllers and Mobility Master.
• Knowledge of Aruba Central, AirWave, and ClearPass Policy Manager.
• Experience with WLAN technologies such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax.
• Good understanding of RF principles, spectrum analysis, channel planning, and wireless optimization.
• Experience configuring VLANs, DHCP, DNS, QoS, ACLs, and network security policies.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer 2/Layer 3 networking concepts.
• Experience with packet analysis and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark.
• Understanding of enterprise authentication methods including 802.1X, RADIUS, MAC Authentication, and Captive Portal.
