Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise wireless networks ensuring secure, reliable, high-performance connectivity for end users. The role involves configuring WLAN controllers, APs, and authentication systems, performing RF site surveys, and collaborating with network and security teams to deliver integrated solutions across enterprise sites.

Strong knowledge of 802.11 standards and real-time troubleshooting using Ekahau or AirMagnet;

Role & responsibilities

Wireless Network Engineer / Specialist Responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise wireless networks to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity for end users.

• Support LAN (WLAN) solutions across enterprise sites.
• Configure and manage wireless controllers, APs, and authentication systems.
• Perform site surveys, capacity planning, and RF optimization.
• Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, performance, and security issues.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards (WPA3, 802.1X).
• Collaborate with network and security teams for seamless integration.

Primary Skills

• Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax). Experience on below technologies WAP - Mist and Cisco. WLAN Cisco, Arista and Juniper.
• Experience with enterprise wireless solutions Juniper and Cisco).
• Proficiency in wireless controllers, AP management, and authentication protocols.
• Familiarity with wireless monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Ekahau, AirMagnet).

Secondary Skills

• Knowledge of RF design and spectrum analysis.
• Experience on below technologies. "WAP -Meraki WLAN - Arista and Aruba"
• Experience with NAC (Network Access Control) and identity-based access.
• Exposure to cloud-managed wireless (Meraki, Aruba Central).
• Scripting/automation for wireless configuration and monitoring.
